So… we don't have any “fresh off the cam” videos to share, but this one has not been featured on the blog yet.  I love Metallica, but please… a fair warning… the lyrics get a little butchered.  But! It's all in classic BBV style that is still good, wholesome fun.

Also, it is one of the first.  I think I've presented the videos in a backwards progression… this is back when we had worse lighting issues (we're amateurs, what can I say?), the voxman was not very loose in front of the camera, and Sideshow is in it!

We were going to make a new video the other weekend; however, Sideshow couldn't find the charger for the video camera and it was dead.  D. E. A. D.

  • I HAAAAATE the controller that comes with rock band. It’s just never been comfortable to me and the strum bar feels too loosy goosy. I used to use the Xplorer from GH2, but after going through 3 of them (I guess I just rocked too hard for the Xplorer), I got the wireless Les Paul one, and although I wish the edges were rounded (it chafes my forearm), its workin for me.

    I won’t comment on anyone else’s singing because there is a reason I ONLY play guitar. . .

  • @Fish – Wow, you went through 3 guitars? The first guitar that we got with RB (I didn’t like the first GH ones, especially after using the RB one) had an issue with the strum bar. It was replaced for free do to a known issue. We now also have a wireless one. It’s ok to comment on the singing 😛 I do, then again, he’s our friend so it’s my right or something… that and I can outsing him any day. *nodnod*

    @Abi – 😀 Glad you enjoyed!

Welcome

We are a family of gamers. Mom (Darcy/Syrana) and Dad (Brian/Sideshow) have been gaming for as long as they can remember back when you only had a joystick to use and saved your games to cassette tapes.

They've been gaming together since they met in 2002. Sometime after 2006, they both started playing World of Warcraft and did that for many years. They started this blog, originally called Sideshow & Syrana which has now transitioned to the new Stay-At-Home Gamers site, while keeping all of the original content.

Starting in 2010, two more gamers came along (now known as Princess Boo and Mr. X) and they are now old enough where they both enjoy playing games and watching others play games. They are both excited to have others to watch them play their favorite games. Come along with us and let's enjoy these games together!
