So… the other night I was perusing keyword searches that reach this here blog.  Some make sense, some are weird and make me wonder why they woulda looked through 50+ pages before finding us, and some…. some are just amusing.

One of these amusing search terms was “syrana hampster.”  Of course, I shared this on Twitter.

And, you know what, I think we have found it!

Or… more accurately… Sunshinecelery found it!

It's quite likely this person was trying to find Syrian hamsters.

Or… maybe… there really is an evil Syrana hamster?  You be the judge!

Syrana: So what do you want to do tonight, Hamster?

Syrana Hamster: Same thing we do every night, Syrana – try to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!

Disclaimer: No hamsters were harmed during the making of this post.

  • It reminds me of the fat bishops in the giant gold-threaded robes that I’d see at Mass now and then. It’s even praying, and watching you with beady eyes.

@Sprink: I must ask: do your duct tape and screwdrivers hide at certain times of the day? Perhaps they are nocturnal? Your question raises more questions!

  • @Sprink – You know, Kleps is right… your question brings on more questions! 😛

Although, I often can find things around the house ALL THE TIME when I don’t need them. But when I do? No where to be found.

    Sneaky hamster.

Welcome

We are a family of gamers. Mom (Darcy/Syrana) and Dad (Brian/Sideshow) have been gaming for as long as they can remember back when you only had a joystick to use and saved your games to cassette tapes.

They've been gaming together since they met in 2002. Sometime after 2006, they both started playing World of Warcraft and did that for many years. They started this blog, originally called Sideshow & Syrana which has now transitioned to the new Stay-At-Home Gamers site, while keeping all of the original content.

Starting in 2010, two more gamers came along (now known as Princess Boo and Mr. X) and they are now old enough where they both enjoy playing games and watching others play games. They are both excited to have others to watch them play their favorite games. Come along with us and let's enjoy these games together!
